Spy, black ops agent. Although no one is sure what he truly looks like, they know his reputation as the “angel of death”. Flet comes from a clan of changlings specifically bred by the 12. He is a prodigy among his people and has exceeded the expectations of his teachers at even an early age. His cool detachment makes him a very effective tool in the hands of the Council. He was sent into service during the last war to assure that a certain chain of events occurred. It was there he met Arko and they became fast friends. Since the war and for the past several years, the 12 have arranged for the pair to take on a third member of their team of agents; a barbarian named Foen with a Marked talent.
And so, the 12 proved their wisdom once again. The trio compliment each other well, their effectiveness as a team is proven out time and time again. And yet, rumor has it that the trio may become a quartet.
Several missions into the Mournland later, the team’s experience and reputation grow. Although, the trips weren’t exactly vacations, the warforged bandits were bad enough, but Flet developed some condition while there. The Mists seem to have adversely effected the changling. He is more pale and coughed badly while within that dead gray curtain that surrounds the remains of Cyre.
Recently, and completely by accident, it was discovered that Flet had some magical means of causing damage simply through contact. The mood of his lover was quite radically altered when she was the lucky first recipient of the malevalent abberant manifestation.
To possess an abberant mark is to possess one’s own death warrant. So, like his changling heritage, Flet must continue to hide its existence knowing that one day it will be discovered and he will at that point become a fugitive. Of course, catching a fugitive changling specifically trained to both disappear and to resemble perfectly anyone else might prove to be quite challenging…
